I downloaded the Directory a few days ago and have already found many new contacts. It’s really a “must have” information source for anyone in the business. I am pleased with the quality and depth of both the home and overseas market information – it is not
difficult to export jewelry so we really should have been thinking more ‘internationally’ before especially as the Directory provides 1000’s of contacts at very little cost. |
Thanks

1.Do you list traders that have a website but where you do not have their email address.?
No, we only include listings where we have both a website and an email address
2.What is .csv format and how can I import in Excel?
CSV stands for Comma Separated Values, sometimes also called Comma Delimited. A CSV file is a specially formatted plain text file which stores spreadsheet or basic database-style information in a very simple format, with one record on each line, and each field within that record separated by a comma. It is therefore easy to transfer a .cvs file into a spreadsheet program like Excel or into a database program such as Filemaker. If you are using Excel or another spreadsheet or database application then your Help files will have plenty of information on how to accomplish this simple task. But if you are stuck and need assistance then contact us for more information. Alternatively, just Google "coma separated value" for lots more information.
3.Do you update the info?
We rechecked all website and email addresses listed in the Fine Jewelry Directory during August and September 2011.
4.What does the information in a directory look like? Can you show us the field or file structure?
A link to the Field and File structure can be found in each Directory information page as listed on the left hand side panel. For example, click on FINE JEWELRY then half way down the page at the end of the 2nd table you will find a link to a page giving the exact file and field structure for that directory.
